Looking to find a job where I work together with others and can put all of my skills to good use. The person I am today is sure to make your customers and all of my fellow co-workers happy! I would love to help TJ's Sport's Garden and Restaurant grow reciprocally!
-People appreciate feeling important and it makes them feel warm and welcome. One positive experience like this can lead to plenty more! I know this from not only my previous waitressing experience here, but also from all of my work experience being in the customer service industry.
-Folded napkins and prepared silverware sets to provide adequate supply for host station.
-It was absolutely necessary to make sure a customer was greeted within a minute or two of them having sat down in a friendly way, but also within 1-2 minutes at Generation's Restaurant and Pub. People have lives just like you and I and do not wish to run late for important events, have cold food, nor be thirsty.
-Suggesting certain drinks and knowing the drinks we offered not only good for sales at Generations, but also created a positive and easier experience for the guests at the restaurant. We would get a lot of people who would come in just to drink on the weekends, during live bands playing and also, during trivia night. This was also absolutely necessary, due to the fact that we did not list our regular drinks on the menu as well.
-Pre-busing tables was one of the many ways I could not only help out my team as a waitress, but it also created more space for customers at the restaurant and made room for more items to be brought out. I saw a lot of customer satisfaction from doing this simple action alone.
-As a waitress at a bar and pub, dealing with alcoholic beverages was a daily task. It's what you do before serving an alcohol to a customer that is most important to the establishment and your duty as a waitress. I would always have customers show me their valid ID before putting in an order for any alcoholic beverage.
-Sometimes life happens and people run behind or get super busy. At the salon I would help mix up a co-worker's color formula, check their client out quickly and professionally for them, etc. This is also the duty of a waitress. Waiting tables can be a busy and tiring job when it's game night or a weekend here at Tj's I'm sure! Helping carry out food, as instructed, for a fellow waitress or even grabbing a drink from the drink machine helps catch them up to speed, just as it would in the salon.
-Booked appointments, answered phones, greeted clients, handled payments and created client service tickets.
-Showing up ready to work on time, with your hair and make-up done, apron on, pens and pad in pocket, etc. is not only a way to show your dedication to your job, but also makes things easier and customers appreciate it. I remember at the salon, having to always be dressed for success and maintain a polished, clean appearance. People like when you smell good and present yourself accordingly. A clean apron and uniform, clean hygiene habits and going the extra mile by doing something nice with hair or makeup makes greeting your table in a friendly manner with a smile and the establishment look good. When people are positive and practice positive, welcoming, timely and clean appearance, it not only effects their experience but it reflects on you as a waitress and the place you work for as well.
-Just as waitressing is a people-pleasing job in many ways, so was working at the salon. My clients would always appreciate that I remained tidy by sweeping up hair after a haircut, so no one would slip and my fellow co-workers appreciated it as well. Keeping the salon tidy and helping out in small ways, with acts like this or even just changing toilet paper, cleaning up water after shampoos, etc. were just small but easy ways to show we were a clean establishment and also a safe one!
-Booked appointments, answered phones, greeted clients, handled payments and created client service tickets.
-Supported reception desk as needed, receiving phone calls, entering appointments and collecting payments for services rendered.
-Just as a client who is receiving a hair service, there is a certain usage of time that is of the utmost importance, or the customers hair will not turn out right nor will it be as beautiful. Cooking and the food industry deals with serving a chef's art to a customer and it needs to be hot if it's hot food, cold if it's cold food, and served in a timely manner so their experience is lovely as well.
-Grew sales with great work ethic, individualized beauty care plans and positive attitude.
-Applying knowledge of food and drinks you all serve here is very similar to having to know products inside and out at the salon. This provided me with an easy way to bump up my commission on hair products, just like it would help increase the check by suggesting a delicious dessert or sandwich that is served here at Tj's. It also impressed customers, and made them feel that they were in good hands!
-If I had not known what all we offered when a customer would come into Milklas' Meat Market, nor where to find it, then Miklas would've lost customer's and they would have no faith in the store. Knowing what Tj's serves, how it comes, tastes and what comes with it; leaves a customer satisfied not only with their dinner, but with your establishment as well.
-Maintained customer satisfaction with forward-thinking strategies focused on addressing customer needs and resolving concerns.
-Answered constant flow of customer calls with minimal wait times.
-Always greeted each customer as soon as they walked through the door, making them feel welcome and at home.
-Prepared different orders prior to customers coming in to pick their party tray, meat bundle up, filleted chicken, etc.
