In ENGR 7A we learned how to design, build, and test an autonomous rover while learning essential engineering skills such as CAD modeling, programming, and fabrication. They will also gain experience in project management, teamwork, technical reporting, and presentations, and will interact with engineering professionals to understand current trends and challenges in the field.
In ENGR 7B students will design, build, and test an autonomous rover capable of line following and color recognition to capture a specific object, while learning essential engineering skills like CAD modeling, programming, and fabrication. The course also covers project management, teamwork, technical reporting, and includes an entrepreneurship component, with opportunities to interact with engineering professionals through guest speakers and alumni presentations.

In my AP Physics class, we built a mousetrap car and tested the distance each could travel. I came in 3rd place which was an accomplishment for me since there were around 150 kids in that course.

Through my 4 years of being a team member in the STEM Club at Rancho Cucamonga High School, I accomplished 3 major projects and built model rockets each year...
Beginning of each school year we built model rockets, my main job was constructing the outer frame of the rocket.
We assembled a drone with a camera attached which we used to record our school rallies and events. My task was assembling the body of the drone and attaching a camera.
The club then built a robotic arm which I helped with the coding and learned how to work with more gears and bits than just a frame. This project was a stepping stone into learning more about enginerring and coding.
Lastly, we built a rc car where I learned more about building a chassis and axial movement.
