Directly involved in administrative work such as schedule creation & management, maintaining licenses & training for employees, hosting meetings and training for safety & health, assisting the director with payroll, and hosting events for the YMCA + maintained normal functions of a Child Watch employee.

Teach a combination of state & Montessori curriculum to preschool kids + lead and helped plan events for the YMCA – regularly taught swimming lessons, safety drills, Spanish & ASL, outdoor safety skills, stranger danger, and park safety skills to kids.

Help lead a before & after school childcare program for the YMCA – including lesson planning for activities & teaching for the children & hosted readings.

Leader for a variety of camp programs at the YMCA, including responsibilities such as maintaining safety & watch of multiple age groups, planning crafts, events, & games, creating a lesson plan with assignments for the kids, and assisting with fields trips (zoo, water parks, Maymont, King’s Dominion, farms, aquariums, etc.)

Maintained a safe & clean environment for a classroom of preschool kids, create a lesson plan daily activities & assignments within the curriculum, and taught ASL + Spanish.
