While acquiring my Human Development Family Science with an emphasis in Child Life degree, I volunteer 2 days a week with pediatrics.

• I provided comfort to hospitalized children by reading stories, playing games, or simply listening to their concerns.
• Assisted the Child Life Specialists with activities and tasks
• Organized and maintained a sterile playroom on the pediatric floor or the Children's Cancer and Blood Disorder Unit for the hospitalized children
• Interact with the patients siblings
• Supported families during difficult times, offering emotional support and resources as needed
• Participated in special events like holiday celebrations or themed activity days to create memorable experiences for patients and their families during challenging times.
