- Preceptor - Requested by management to orient and train multiple new graduate nurses and experienced NICU nurses new to Ascension.
- Note: in addition, was requested by management to take on the role of Charge Nurse and/or Resource Nurse in addition to Preceptor.
Patient Population
- One travel contract in an 84 bed NICU
- Strong focus on micro-premies, chronic and surgical patients of both stable and unstable medical status.

- Preceptor - Requested by management to orient and train multiple new graduate nurses and experienced nurses new to the NICU specialty. Oriented and checked off incoming travel nurses on proficiency to care and manage high-risk level 3 neonates.

- Two consecutive assignments in an 84 bed divided Level 2 and Level 4 NICU with strong focus on chronic and surgical patients
- Frequent float shifts caring for well newborns in a nationally recognized couplet care Mother Baby Unit
Patient Population
- 50 bed Level 3 NICU of a high-risk birthing hospital; strong focus on micro-premies
- Frequent float shifts to Dell Seton Children's Hospital Level 4 NICU
- Created original weekly content review materials and lead weekly content review sessions for all of approximately 80 students enrolled in the "Fundamentals of Nursing" class each semester. -
- Class test scores and overall passing rate surpassed professor expectations.
- Returned post-graduation in response to requests by professors after one semester post-graduation to continue tutoring their class.
