What is success to me?

  • I define success in several ways, but the most important and consistent being monetary. The metrics I use are sales, and if the progression of sales has an upwards trend. Failure for me is when the sales curve flattens, or drops, and that's when I decide that I need to make a change or pivot.

  • Bravery was definitely shown when I started my first business, I had little to no knowledge about the business world, but was so devoted towards my goals that I pushed on. What i really give myself props for is my ability to do whatever it takes to succeed, and I hope I never lose this quality.

  • I don’t consider many things as a failure, because if I was happy with a decision or route in the moment, I can’t really look back and disagree with my past self because of the outcome. I’ve also never been one to sit back and think about how I lost a battle or made a bad decision, I just start thinking about solutions and the next steps. This is one of the strongest qualities that I have and has helped me continue to push in the right direction.

  • Kindness and selflessness are things that I practice whenever I have the opportunity. If someone who is going through a tough time ever asks for food, or if I see someone going through the trash for any scraps, I never hesitate to buy them a meal or give them water. But I don’t take pride or feel like it's a big thing to do, I was given a fortunate life and am just happy I can help another person.

Things I Want to Improve

  • I want to improve myself in every possible way, I can go on and on about some of my shortcomings at the moment and what I need to fix, but I am not stressed at all about it, because I am slowly getting there.
  • I need to start waking up early, which has been difficult because I do business overseas who have different business hours due to time zones, but have been finding a balance.
  • I really want to start drinking more water and consuming less sugar.
  • I want to be more active, and I have been going well in the right direction, but need to continue the motivation in this area.
  • I also want to pick up another hobby or do something else and get really good at it.
  • Lastly, I want to stop justifying some of the smaller bad habits I have in life, like sleeping late, eating unhealthy, and drinking sugary drinks. I think I have a high standard on everything else, but when it comes to my own well being, I sometimes slack off.
