Attended Oncotalk program in Cleveland, OH in January 2015 which was a workshop/retreat focused on communication skills for a practicing oncologist who trains fellows/oncologists in challenging scenarios in the day-to-day practice of oncology which included "end of life" discussions, and "family and caregiver counseling".
Attended "Accelerating Anti-Cancer Agents Development and Validation Workshop" in Bethesda, MD in May 2016 funded by a competitive travel grant.
The meeting included an intensive scholars program to train fellows in the FDA's process of drug validation and protocols for response and safety assessment of clinical trials.
