Madison Ashey

In this role, I'm responsible for the financial affairs of the chapter, keeping records, operating under a budget, issuing billing, paying chapter accounts, and assisting the Finance and Operations VP.

In this role, I'm responsible for coordinating transportation logistics for events and trips, creating and managing the bus list, organizing sober sisters, and ensuring members are efficiently and safely assigned to buses.

This summer at Bogen Communications LLC, I gained hands-on experience in finance, accounting, marketing, and customer service. In finance, I supported budgeting tasks, forecasting models, and understanding financial statements. In accounting, I worked in the SAP system to assist with financial tracking and reporting, account analysis and journal entry preparation. In marketing, I gathered market research needed for a project. In customer service, I learned about order entry and other customer related tasks. Through this internship, I learned how financial systems and marketing strategies connect and how decision making plays a crucial role in business growth.

• Assisted the freshman students accepted into the CeAL program by encouraging academic success
• Attended their University class twice a week
• Attended a class once a week designed to help peer leaders succeed
• Proctored a study hall once a week to encourage student success

• Took phone calls from customers placing orders
• Wrapped and organized food orders that were ready to be picked up
• Prepared tables’ checks and rang up customers
