Additional Information
I completed a policy research internship in Rome during a study abroad program. During this program, I researched current European policy that effected the countries in the European Union in regards to current and future refugees. Alongside the research, we also interned at a local refugee center getting hands on experience working with refugees, and seeing how the EU policy affected their transition to a new life. We got hands on experience to work with local diplomats in the Italian Parliament whose main focus was refugee policy.
