  • Starting this semester, I will be a Staff photographer for OU's only student-run fashion magazine.
  • The Campus Edit releases one magazine bi-monthly and is run by around 20 members.
  • I am super excited to see where this new journey will lead me this semester.
  • OU's only student-run fashion magazine.

Franchise Anchor

OU Nightly
Norman
09.2025 - 12.2025
  • As the Monday Franchise Anchor, I reported on the consumer segment specifically, broadcasting the top three consumer stories from all around the world.
  • I wrote and produced my own 75 second live broadcasting; showcasing my three stories, each 25 seconds long.
  • With the help of CNN Newsource, I am able to find consumer issues related to college students, and OKC residents.
  • Collaborated with producers to create engaging segment content and story ideas.

Social Media Coordinator Intern

XO Institute
Southlake
06.2025 - 07.2025
  • This role gave me knowledge in the social media world of not only journalism, but marketing as well.
  • Running and posting with an account with over 140K followers, was able to understand analytics and what gets viewers attention.

News Center Producer

OU Nightly
Norman
01.2025 - 05.2025
  • As the Wednesday News Center producer, helped the News Center anchor with their 3 top stories of the day, editing VO/SOT, uploading to their segment, helped create last minute lower thirds, and overall gained so much insight to the news world without being the one on camera.
  • This opportunity allowed me to grow closer with other anchors as well.
  • Produced daily news segments for an award-winning collegiate broadcast program.

News Brief Anchor

OU Nightly
Norman
01.2025 - 05.2025
  • As the Tuesday and Thursday News Brief anchor, I summarized and produced the top three stories in the main news cast.
  • This opportunity allowed me to sharpen my skills with writing longer scripts, and producing and editing more VO/SOT.
  • In a one minute broadcast, I also learned the importance of getting correct information, even having some opportunities to help out my main anchors with bigger, or new stories before the live show started.

Update Desk Anchor

OU Nightly
Norman
01.2024 - 05.2025
  • My first official position with OU Nightly, I went into this position knowing nothing about the platform Inception; however, I became a pro at writing scripts, editing video and audio, and getting everything done in time in just two months.
  • Being the update desk anchor, I was in charge of getting new recent news that was either breaking news, a continued story, or even reporting criminals on the loose.
  • This position I hold dearly to my heart. It started as being the scariest position, to one that led me down the best path with OU Nightly.

Clinical Rotations student shadower

KISD KCAL
Keller
09.2021 - 05.2022

During my junior year of high school (2021–2022), I participated in the KISD KCAL Clinical Rotation Program, where I gained extensive hands-on exposure to the medical field. Through this program, I completed over 270 hours of operating room shadowing across multiple healthcare settings, including Texas Health Resources (THR), Medical City Alliance (MCA), and various clinics throughout Keller, Texas. My rotations allowed me to observe a wide range of surgical procedures, interact with healthcare professionals across specialties, and develop a deeper understanding of patient care, medical environments, and clinical workflows. This experience reinforced my interest in the medical field and provided a strong foundation in professionalism, communication, and observational skills in high-pressure healthcare settings.
