• Conduct 6 hours per week of clinical shifts, screening and enrolling pediatric patients into IRB-approved research studies.
• Support study operations through chart review, eligibility screening, workflow coordination, and accurate data collection.
• Communicate directly with patients and families to help facilitate informed consent and assent.
• Developed foundational knowledge of GCP, HIPAA, IRB processes, research protocol adherence, and clinical study logistics.

• Assisted pediatric therapists in patient care, exercise programs, and treatment workflows.
• Supported clinical documentation, equipment preparation, and safe mobility practices.
• Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, strengthening teamwork, communication, and patient interaction skills.
