I am a current Invasive Cardiovascular Technology student at Santa Fe. While looking to begin my career, some things I strive to achieve in a hospital are strengthening and expanding my experience, skills, and education. It is also very important to me that I make a connection with the team as well as making connections with others.
During this rotation, I made connections with patients, employees and physicians. I learned the basics of the lab which included patient prep, pre and post-procedure roles. I was also involved with cases such as diagnostic left and right heart procures.
During this rotation, I continued building relationships with patients. I also expanded my skills with diagnostic left and right heart cases as well as interventions. This lab also exposed me to peripheral cases.
For this rotation, I have further continued my skills of front scrubbing for diagnostic and interventional cases. This fast-paced lab has also given me the skill of working in a timely manner.
