Accomplishments

My driving force behind choosing education was the intention to eventually travel abroad and immerse myself in international experiences. In the year 2020, I was accepted for an international student teaching position which would take me to Bangkok, Thailand. Similarly, in 2021 I worked with a group of refugee youth supporting their adaptation to a new culture. Finally, in 2022, I worked as an academic interventionist for migrant students in a small village in Alaska. I look forward to continuing my experience with diverse communities of learners and becoming part of a community abroad I can call home.
