I am a recent graduate of Damien Memorial school. Throughout my high school career, I was involved in student government, yearbook team, the broadcast media team, and DMTV, our daily live morning announcements. I have experience in media such as video editing with Premier Pro and After Effects, graphic design using Photoshop and InDesign, and speaking on camera, live. I am well rounded in live broadcasts, in front of the camera, behind the camera, and utilizing technology, such as soundboards and the OBS system to keep the broadcast running. I use these skills to win an award at graduation, for being the most proficient in digital media out of the entire school. I have no fear of public speaking, and no social anxiety, making communicating easier for me. I'm always up to learning something new and challenging myself with media.
As a student government representative, I have organization and leadership skills, and I'm always ready to improvise if necessary. I can collaborate with a team easily, and I'm very open minded to any ideas that my peers might have. I am also always ready to lend a hand. I was always ready to do emergency yearbook photoshoots, and help everyone in my broadcast class record their videos in the studio, as I was the only one who knew how to fully use the equipment.
As an athlete, I was always mentally prepared for games, races and tournaments. Throughout high school I competed in varsity level cheerleading paddling, and Judo through these activities. I became a mentor and a leader. I was always ready to help someone with a cheer or a throw, and supported my teammates through their good and bad days.
