As a Certified Home Health Aide, I was required to complete an abundant amount of tasks that varied based on the home I was providing services to. Services that were commonly provided follow as listed:

• Logged vital signs on a daily basis and contacted the Director of Nursing or Schedulers, regarding any patient health concerns or behavioral changes
• Supervised daily activities and provided assistance as often as possible to ensure patient safety in the home.
• Assisted patients through safe transition between sleeping surfaces and mobility assistance such as wheelchairs by providing consistent support.
• Maintained a clean, safe, and well-organized patient environment.
• Interacted kindly with patients and patient families while displaying a positive, outgoing attitude, resulting in establishment of long-term, professional relationships.
• Maintained a close eye on behavior and emotional responses of clients, then consulting with the Director of Nursing and Schedulers to address concerns to protect each patient from any harm.
