Dedicated Fraud Prevention Specialist with history of meeting company goals utilizing consistent and organized practices. Skilled in working under pressure and adapting to new situations and challenges to best enhance the organizational brand.
Since I joined the Risk Center in 2019, I have steadily made strides up the ladder. I worked on the Risk Center floor as a Fraud Prevention Specialist for one year, while also participating as an OWL. After that, I was moved to the Specialty Team, where I worked side by side with the Investigations Team.
I was in that field for roughly a year before I made my return back to the Risk Center floor.
Not long after, I was offered a position with the Compliance team. As short lived as that position may have been, I learned a lot from the experience.
As a FPS, I was required to recognize fraudulent transactions, escalate any issues or fraudulent activity to the appropriate department, and work a certain number of checks within an hour, and make sure my quality was up to par.
On the Specialty Team, I was required to run KYCs on new customers, investigate fraudulent patterns, as well as contacting makers.
While working in the Compliance Department, I learned how to assign monthly training to employees, make sure we were holding our end of compliance, verify documents, as well as communicate with employees directly about any issues they have with training, etc.
In this role, I was requires to create schedules for employees, hand out payroll checks, resolve any grievances within the company, as well as delegating job tasks to individuals. On top of that, I was also in charge of all marketing - Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, etc.
All of that started with me working as a CSR and quickly moving my way up the ladder.
