I have had the opportunity to help manage 75 LVAD patients. This was an inpatient/ outpatient role responsible for all education, for patients,families, staff, and community support. I have completed outreach with several community first responders, emergency departments, and supporting hospitals to achieve positive patient outcomes. I worked as a clinical consultant for the hospital system, support implants of devices and procedures in the O.R., round daily on the patients, and help transition from inpatient, to outpatient.

I have experience caring for the most acutely ill patients, with a high level of proficiency and positive patient out comes. I have been an instructor for the last four years preforming bi-annual V.A.D. competencies to all staff of the S.I.C.U. and C.I.C.U..
