• 8D is a 20-bed critical care unit which provides care for critical and moderate care patients. Our patient population requires highly skilled nursing care for acute and chronically ventilated patients as well as those who have difficulties weaning from ventilator support.
• Charge nurse/ preceptor experience
• Manage ventilators, central lines, arterial lines, and other life-saving equipment.
• Administer and titrate IV drips including pressors, sedatives, and analgesics.
• Respond and assists in emergencies including codes And intubations.

• Provided care to post-operative liver, kidney, lung, intestinal, pancreatic, and multi-visceral transplant patients, as well as those admitted for acute and chronic rejection.
• Administered anti-rejection medications and monitored levels.
• Collaborated with various multidisciplinary transplant teams.
• Mentored nurse external sharing best practices, and guiding their professional development.

Assisted in providing direct patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring high-quality care and positive patient outcomes.

Demonstrated adaptability by working seamlessly across various clinical units based on staffing needs within the hospital setting.
