Madison Letzring

As a specialist at Outpost Summer Camps, I was part of the leadership team and was responsible for overseeing all age groups, from kindergarten through 8th grade. My role involved covering senior counselors' breaks and providing an additional layer of supervision for each group, ensuring that I could report any significant observations to the directors. This position honed my time management skills as I moved between groups and gave me valuable insights into the behaviors and dynamics of different age levels.

As a salon consultant at Itan, I was responsible for checking in returning clients for bed tans, spray tans, or spa services. For new clients, I provided a warm welcome, gave them a tour of the salon, and helped them choose the best tanning regimen, whether it was spray tanning or bed tanning. I also promoted our top products to ensure clients achieved the best results. This role enhanced my people skills, helped me build strong client relationships, and ensured that clients felt as comfortable and satisfied as possible in our salon.

I served as a senior counselor at Outpost, I worked with children in grades 3 through 5, overseeing a group of 12 kids who rotated every two weeks over an 8-week period. In this role, I organized and led outdoor activities, facilitated group bonding, took the kids to the pool, and guided hikes in the canyon. This position enhanced my patience, time management skills, and ability to build strong connections with children who needed extra support.

At Rolling Hills, I served as a high school aide for the after-school program, where I assisted 4th and 5th graders. My responsibilities included assisting the program aide with supervising the children, helping them with their homework, and keeping them engaged and entertained until their parents arrived for pick-up.
