As a Shift Leader working for Walgreens, my day consists of many responsibilities and tasks.
This job has provided me so many new opportunities and experiences as to which I have been able to learn and grow from. Being challenged with a new issue every day and seeing the effectiveness of my solutions has given me the confidence to reach for new opportunities and goals that I would have never thought I could achieve. As a Sales Associate at Harbor Freight Tools, I was responsible for many jobs during my shift, such as:
Helping customers locate products and check store system for merchandise at other sites.
Training and developing new sales team associates in products, selling techniques and company procedures.
Maintaining customer satisfaction with quick and professional handling of product returns.
Increasing sales by offering advice on purchases and promoting additional products.
Applying security and loss prevention training toward recognizing risks and reducing store theft.
Organizing racks and shelves to maintain store visual appeal, engage customers and promote specific merchandise.
Offering replacement plans and promoting special membership pricing.
Assisting customers in-person as well as over the phone.
On a daily basis I offer our promotions and savings as well as our paid membership. I have sold many memberships throughout my 3 months of employment at Harbor
Freight.
As a Sales Associate working for Kohl's Department Stores, I had many responsibilities.
Maintaining a clean sales floor and straightening and facing merchandise.
Organizing store merchandise racks and displays to promote and maintain visually appealing environments.
Greeting customers and helping with product questions, selections and purchases, including in-store and e-service transactions.
Answering questions about store policies and addressing customer concerns.
Folding and arranging merchandise in attractive displays to drive sales.
Informing customers of current store promotions to encourage additional sales purchases.

Many times I had customers tell my managers that I was very helpful and had made their shopping experience easier and more pleasant. As a Seasonal Retail Sales Associate, my employment was to end after the holidays. In January of 2020, my hard work had been recognized and I was chose to become a part of the Kohl's team as a permanent employee. I accepted the offer and continued my hard work at Kohl's until I stopped my employment in June of 2020 due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
