  • I'm occasionally asked, by the General Manager, to fill in as lead bartender if the bar manager is not scheduled for that shift. When doing this I am to make decisions on behalf of bar staff and bar customers during that specific shift. While doing this I follow correct protocols, make customer tab comps, add employee discounts, accommodate customers accordingly when they are disappointed, keep a positive team workflow, and maintain positive guest experience throughout the shift.
  • Quickly break down drawer and distribute the money made appropriately to each team member on the shift.
  • Quickly and accurately enter claim data for each employee on shift into computer system.
  • Promptly learned to make extra ingredients for cocktails (infused simple syrups, garnishes, etc.)
  • Accurately studied for menu testing; knowing each dish down to the specific ingredients (for allergy precautions)
