Currently mobilizing Harris Creek Baptist Church in Waco, Tx to raise up workers to plant churches amongst Unreached People Groups. This entails discovering faithful followers of Jesus, developing them to be disciples makers, and deploying them to Unreached People Groups. Within this job, I share my people oriented, energetic, cooperative personality with peers, congregation, and staff members. This job has also included partner development, communicating to teammates, leading larger groups of people, decision making, organization, as well as being an encouraging voice to many.
As Mobilization Coach, I work with Harris Creek to stir passion for Overseas Workers. I discover, develop, and deploy missionaries to unreached people groups who have never heard the name of Jesus. This is done by engaging with college students, young adults, and families and training them how to make disciples in their placements of work and school. I have oversight of various 10 week programs as well as a 9 month training program. I desire to raise up workers for the Lord's harvest (Luke 10:2)!
I assisted in planning and organizing events for the youth students as well as planning the curriculum for the semesters. This also included preparing and teaching lessons from Scripture to grades 7th-12th. I faithfully led a small group of girls for 4 years. I did this along with helping where needed and making sure other leaders were poured into and seeking Christ to be the center of their lives.
Enhanced customer service as well as communications skills, managed entrance of patrons to building, and had knowledge of Baylor University's facility center. As staff leader, I had extra tasks to achieve and had access to certain approval processes. Additionally, I lead on shift to ensure other staff members were doing what was needed to be done.
Weekly, I sent out emails to every missionary family requesting praises and prayer requests from them and then compiled a Missions Article for the Congregation in Glendora, CA. Within this, there was a ton of Communication skills needed to be the bridge between those overseas and those stateside. Additionally, I lead Bible Studies with the high school girls with the focus of body image. Lastly, I would do other tasks that came along in order to help the full-time staff.
Was located in Nairobi, Kenya for 3 weeks on AIM's mission compound assisting in office work, as well as learning the language of Kiswahili and the Religion of Islam. Additionally, went to Kilwa, Tanzania for 3 weeks and had practical application of sharing the Gospel to unreached people groups.
