Provided comprehensive care for patients with LVADs, Impellas, balloon pumps, and ECMO in CVICU. Assessed patient conditions, recorded vitals, and maintained detailed charts under nurse supervision. Administered medications and managed titrations per protocols in critical care settings. Performed laboratory tests to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

As a student nurse in the CVICU, I observed patients with critical cardiovascular conditions. While working on the unit, I have been able to take patients' blood sugars, perform daily care, and observe the daily tasks of a nurse.

Facilitated patient transport to testing locations within hospital using bed, stretcher, or wheelchair. Employed safe transfer methods to ensure patient comfort and safety. Assisted nursing staff in delivering patient care when required.
