I found a passion for thrifting clothing items, so I decided to take that passion a step further by actively re-selling these items for a profit. While starting this personal business I learned many different skills including,

• Developing and executing online strategies for leads, sales and pricing to generate revenue.
• Providing exceptional services and pleasant shopping experiences to retail customers through online means, such as email and text.
• Answering customer questions about products and helping to locate certain merchandise and promote key items.

After completing a few high level science and several entrepreneurship courses, I decided to commit a few hours a day during my summer breaks to being a volunteer tutor. During these volunteer times I used many different skill sets including,

• Determining concepts needing priority focus of tutorial sessions by reviewing and assessing student work, notes and discussions.
• Providing homework assistance using specific curriculum and materials.
• Supporting students with helpful study habits and exam strategies.
• Creating a positive space and attitude to provide the upmost comfort to any student.
• Assessed students' progress throughout tutoring sessions and adjusted instructional methods and content focus.
