I have achieved so much here, first is learning how to manage the boarding department . Secondly is how to be a leader by example. I am able to make certain calls to better my staff and the pets in my care, building connections with clients and pets no matter the hardships behind it. My first summer job, I learned step by step the process of how to correctly bathe And prepare pets for a nice spa treatment (I like to call it). Here I would get them prepped and ready for the groomer, I would bathe them following it by a nice blow dry, comb and brush them getting any knots that were able to be brushed out before heading over to the groomer. Here I also learned how to clean/pluck ears, shaving between paw pads,the proper way to handle/hold the pet and also watching for certain pet behaviors.
