  • Setting-up baseline & control estimate and managing the same in cost forecasting tools. Ensure alignment of cost in all applications used (SAP and PCF) with approved turnaround event investment ranging from $200M-$350M
  • Creation and monitoring of Cost Breakdown Structure(CBS) & Work Breakdown Structure(WBS) for every turnaround event
  • Maintaining cost tracker to monitor the overall budgets, forecasts and actual costs
  • Managing workforce/labor database, timesheet and hours monitoring, reconciliation of payable hours (labor and equipment) with around 14K manpower in one single event
  • Reporting Value of Work Done (VOWD) monthly and weekly during Turnaround event
  • Annual Work Plan and Budget coordination, preparation and submission to management for review and deliberation
  • Providing weekly updated forecast/latest estimate to management during the event and close monitoring of cost incurred are within the approved investment plan
  • Ensure deviations from approved budget are communicated early on to the management for appropriate actions and decisions
  • Working together with peer cost engineers to ensure delivery of 10% accurate cost estimates, cost controls and reporting of cost progress within strict time schedules and routines
  • Full Invoice management of 300 plus contractors and vendors. Vouched accuracy of claims and compliance assurance within approved Contracts and Purchase Orders and ensure accurately booked to the appropriate cost work orders buckets.
  • Requisition to Pay (RtP) Focal point for Turnaround, end to end Process. Ensure any RtP issues are resolved immediately and vendors are paid on time.
  • Participates and support in timely close-out of turnaround event, cost-wise and lesson learned documentation including closing of SAP WBS, and capitalization process with finance team
  • Contract Cost Engineering System (CCES) SME support to all Pearl GTL estimators and application users.
  • SAP Super-user for Plant Maintenance(PM), Project System(PS) and Material Management(MM) and Finance (FI) modules.
  • Collaborating team member for the implementation of TRACK in QSGTL and serving as the TRACK Contract Data Management Focal-point/Super-user in Pearl GTL.
  • Utilized advanced PCF/Forecaster Tool functionalities as a Super-user to enhance efficiency in Turnaround execution reporting
  • Managed TA Gate Log Access Database as a super-user, monitoring manpower in Turnaround activities
