Looked after four 13 year old boys in a tent, teaching them how to maintain a proper living space and ensuring they stayed clean and safe. Taught canoeing and kayaking to all boys at camp ages 9-14. Lead expeditions in the Maine and New Hampshire wilderness from anywhere between 3-6 days at a time. Acquired Wilderness First Responder certification.

LTIP: the Leadership Training Internship Program. This program teaches rising high school juniors and seniors numerous skills, focusing on developing leadership skills. LTIPS learn how to drive motorboats, use power tools, and perform countless maintenance tasks around the island, most of which require ingenuity and many of which involve getting dirty. LTIPs are expected to be the hardest working staff members on the island. LTIPS also fill in for counselors as needed, and learn how to lead trips and teach activities.
