Process Guide- Vendor Returns
- Helped with setting up, organizing, and laying 5S for the new Vendor Returns area
- Built and oversaw a team of 12-15 associates and assigned them to work stations according to volume and were able to process over 18k units
- Communicated with other departments including Pick and Problem Solve to coordinate how to get volume moving out of Damageland to help lower our highest backlogs
- Communicated and coordinated with Safety and Leadership on all shifts to determine a proper and consistent procedure for handling Hazmat items that were processed through Vendor Returns
Process Guide- Ship Dock Flow
- Assisted in overseeing allocations for the dock to ensure that packages were moving consistently and therefore increasing First Pass Yield up to 96%. Tracked volume coming from pack to predict and stay ahead of incoming volume and staff areas accordingly. Helped with planning allocations as new sorts were added
- Staffed areas according to volume and helped with training with new hires. Trained Process Guides for both night shifts as well as helped with training new flow Process Assistants on both shifts
- Identified and corrected issues with mirror sorts on Reduced Time shift that was causing small amounts of recirculation that affected our First Pass Yield
- Helped with learning, training, and troubleshooting the new CosX system of allocations when it launched as well as the new SAM procedures when they were introduced
- Tracked labor and headcount and oversaw staffing different areas of the dock accordingly
Process Guide- Ship Dock Flats
- Oversaw the operations for the Flats area of Ship Dock including staffing, training, Critical Pull Time pulls, and allocations
- Found ways to consolidate allocations to lessen the number of Critical Pull Time pulls therefore allowing for more room on trucks as well as lowering the needed headcount in the area so associates were able to be moved other higher volume areas as needed
- Tracked Critical Pull Times times and coordinated with the Ship Clerk to ensure that volume was being maximized on trucks
Process Guide- Trans
- Tracked volume for allocations for both the robot and downstacking and staffed people accordingly
- Implemented new procedures for allocating on Front Half Night shift that allowed volume to move consistently and smoothly
- Trained associates on proper procedure, safety in the area, and ways to work more efficiently
- Tracked Critical Pull Times and ensured all volume went out on time
- Problem solved totes that needed it and trained others on how to do so as well
Process Guide- Critical Pull Time
- Tracked Critical Pull Times and assigned them to associates in a way that was fair and efficient
- Tracked that all volume was sent out on time
- Tracked trailer volume and notified and assisted Quality team with merging containers when necessary to ensure all packages left the facility on time
- Assisted the Ship Clerk with moving trailers to and from doors, assigning them accordingly, and making sure all trailers left by the Critical Pull Time
Learning Ambassador
- Trained newly hired associates, transferred associates, and labor shared associates on all areas of the dock
- Trained associates on both proper safety and workflow procedures
- Assisted with rolling out the new training procedures for Ship Dock
- Helped associates find areas on the dock that they excelled best in
