Have done the following:
-Created a fun and safe learning environment for a group of children with a variety of learning styles.
-Taught children how to make paintings, drawings, paper crafts, and decorations as well as other crafts and activities to help them develop their
gross and fine motor skills.
-Directed staff and vendors to provide excellent service to the owner and guests.
-Created welcoming, caring environments for all children by establishing and enforcing rules to ensure their safety.
-Efficiently handled daily administrative tasks, such as updating attendance and requesting new supplies, in order to spend as little time as possible away from the children.
-Took numerous training on CPR care and Infant care, learning how to care for children in the best way possible.
-Watched children to see if there were any issues with their emotional or physical development, and worked with parents and supervisors to address any concerns.
-Used positive reinforcement techniques to encourage patience and other positive behaviors in children.
The most rewarding aspect of the job is building connections with kids through trust and respect.
Provided weekly specialized care for children with special needs, tailoring support to individual requirements.
-The main material taught to the children was religious education since the volunteering took place in an Islamic program.
-Would direct attention toward 1-2 kids at a time to create a personal and attentive learning environment where there could be more space to improve behaviors and learning skills
-Would file, copy, and organize the work the students were going to be focusing on for the year.
-The best part was being able to take the weight off parents shoulders and assure them and their kids that they are included and that the staff are here
for them.
-Got the opportunity to be a part of a community that created a safe place for children with special needs and their parents.
