• Respond to emergency medical and public service calls in San Francisco. Provided Mutual Aid support in San Mateo County and responded to medical calls, when requested by Management.
• Apply Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support techniques which include: providing medical aid, administer drugs, give injections, start IV/IOs, take appropriate action to preserve life as prescribed by standing orders of MD & monitor vital signs.
• Drive and assist in transportation of patients to the appropriate hospitals.
• Provide emergency medical aid to incidents at Sports Standby Events that include: the Golden State Warriors, San Francisco Giants and Oakland A's.
• Daily routine and maintenance of equipment on ambulance and medical bags.

• Answered incoming calls at the Call Center. Scheduled patient appointments in the Adult, Women and Pediatrics department for new & established patients.
• Verified patient insurance information using online websites to research.
• Reviewed and followed all policies, procedures, guidelines of the Alameda Health System.

Performed a critical role in the delivery of emergency police, fire and medical services throughout the community of SMCO. Under the immediate supervision, received and processed 911 emergent lines, telephone, data terminals and other related technology on a 24/7 basis.

Responded to emergent and non-emergent medical calls in SMCO 911 system. Obtained a CPR Instructor Certificate and taught CPR. Obtained a Child Passenger Safety Certificate and installed car seats. Participated in Fire crew’s morning briefings, Public Education Events, and other public demonstrations.
