- Camp Nakanawa, Crossville, TN Counselor, 09/01/24. Assisted at a Mother Daughter Weekend at Camp Nakanawa for Girls- A nonprofit girls summer camp on the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee. I assisted young campers and their families in participation of activities that align with Nakanawa’s mission and vision of providing young girls the opportunity to grow in character and independence, improve self-confidence, and participate in century old traditions that fosters teamwork, involvement in community, and a sense of selflessness.
- Camp Able Coast & Camp Able New Orleans, Counselor, July 2022, June 2023, and June 2024. Camp Able is specifically designed for persons with special needs. Our goal is to establish, at least for one week, a community of unconditional love, compassion and acceptance. As a counselor I was assigned a camper to lead through their chosen activities for a week.
