I worked under the St. Margaret's Shelter branch, a homeless shelter for families. My main responsibilities were to sort donations, wash them, organize them in the store at the shelter for residents to purchase, and work the register. Also, I cleaned the kitchen and cooked for staff and residents. A big part of my summer fellowship was turning rooms, painting them between residents, and assisting the maintenance team when they needed.
