On the side of all this, is the years of advocacy work in the state of Missouri for child care reform. From peaceful protests and well-safety checks, to law suits and law reform after years of public speaking and social media management, and the current writing of a book about my time surviving and my eventual escape from the cult I was sent to as a child, to face torture and abuse sufficient to reach the hearts of legislatures and aid in the changes of state regulations regarding state oversight in facilities harboring minors for behavioral modifications. My journey began in 2007 as a child, and my advocacy began in 2013 when I escaped, but wasn't publicly an advocate until 2018 and have been such since in my spare time.
