During my application for this summer internship program, I was assessed on my interests in different healthcare fields as well as my daily activities. I was given the opportunity to observe in a variety of departments over the six-week period. Throughout these six-weeks, I learned many valuable skills which further helped me realize my desire to want to work in healthcare.

• Clinical Rotation

- Participated in communication among staff members by taking detailed messages from patients and relaying information accurately.

- Reduced risks of patient infection and cross-contamination by cleaning and sterilizing equipment.
