Bemiss Elementary School grade 1 (title 1 school)
I will be traveling to Melbourne, Australia and experience schools there. I will observe the teachers and be a support to them. I will engage with the students and guide them in their school work.
I have been a practicum student for my elementary education major at Whitworth University who observes a mentor teacher and I have been in elementary schools as well as middle schools and Special Ed classrooms. I have had the opportunity to get as much experience as I can. I am also minoring in Special Ed and so I have been able to gain as much knowledge as I can about students who learn differently.

Worked in the church children’s department. Assisted teachers and helped with preparation for Sunday School. Cultivated a positive environment and was a role model to the children. Worked as a team with the other staff members and volunteers.
I was an office assistant and I was tasked with archiving documents, scanning, filing, and general organization for the Ad Agency's accounting department.
