Summary

I strive to create a classroom environment that connects learning to students' everyday lives. My goal is to help students understand, relate to, and care about what they are learning. I am an educator who is dedicated to nurturing thoughtful, active members of society who feel empowered to bring about the changes they wish to see in the world. My instructional approach incorporates democratic practices that honor and include the diverse experiences of all scholars. Central to my teaching is inquiry-based learning, allowing students to explore content in meaningful ways. Additionally, I integrate differentiation techniques into every lesson to meet the needs of all learners. These tools ensure that every student has access to the content and the opportunity to succeed.
