Hi, I’m

Assisant Principal mmariella@wcpss.net
Raleigh, North Carolina 814-450-6643,NC
Maggie Mariella M. ED.

Summary

As an Assistant Principal, I have a proven track record using strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with staff, students and parents. I am organized, dependable, and results-driven Educational Leader with over twenty years of experience working with a diverse population in Traditional, Magnet, Title 1, At-Risk, and Gifted Schools in various leadership capacities. I have guided and supported the Stough Community through two leadership changes while maintaining balance within our community. Throughout multiple challenges our school has faced, we have still shown measurable growth on state benchmarks. A significant accomplishment of the 23-24 school year was to hold accountability while maintaining an equitable and positive learning environment where teachers and students thrived and grew. Working as an Assistant Principal and the right-hand person to the Principal has sharpened my skill set to be ready for the permanent role of Principal. A humble honor was receiving the W.C.P.S.S. Employee Excellence Award 21-22.
