Duties: Assisted in the clinic doing clinical breast exams, escorting patients to get their mammograms, passing out flyers, and filling in paperwork.

Duties: At the free clinic run by medical students, I interview patients, take a full history as well as perform a physical examination, and complete a progress note for each patient encounter that is later placed on the patient’s chart.

2020 - 2021   COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic at Howard University, Washington, DC, USA.

Duties: As a volunteer at the Clinic, I administered vaccines, played a vital role in the registration process, diligently monitored post-vaccine effects on the residents of the DMV area, and proficiently employed my bilingual prowess to seamlessly fulfill the role of a translator when the need arose.

2017 – 2018   Nicklaus Children’s Hospital (Volunteer) Emergency Room, Miami, FL, USA.

Duties: As an emergency department (ED) volunteer at Nicklaus Children's Hospital, my tasks included restocking patients’ rooms, assisting families in the waiting area, and transporting patients to various departments around the hospital. My experience as an ED volunteer helped me recognized the importance of collaboration, as I witnessed interdisciplinary exchanges between physicians, nurses, therapists, and other hospital staff.
