I am pursuing a career as a Wildlife Officer with the State of Ohio and am currently one semester away from completing my Associate’s degree in Natural Resources Law Enforcement at Hocking College. I am an avid outdoorsman with lifelong experience in hunting, fishing, and trapping, and I have a deep appreciation for wildlife and natural resource conservation. My passion for the outdoors began at a young age, influenced greatly by my father and grandfather, who taught me the values of stewardship, safety, and respect for nature. I take pride in my strong work ethic, professionalism, and respect for both employers and coworkers. I am committed to serving the public and contributing to the protection and responsible management of Ohio’s natural resources.
I hold a Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (SUAS) license and safely operate agricultural drones to apply fungicides, yield boosters, and a range of other crop-protection products with precision. My work involves utilizing advanced drone application technology, transporting equipment to job sites using a heavy-duty Ford pickup and a gooseneck spray trailer, and accurately calculating and mixing daily chemical loads. I am responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and performing routine repairs on drones and associated equipment. I communicate directly with customers, landowners, and community members to ensure clarity, professionalism, and overall satisfaction with the application process. The position requires a high level of independence, as typical workdays are performed unsupervised. Additionally, I train and supervise new employees to ensure they understand operational procedures and safety protocols. Work hours fluctuate with weather conditions, often beginning before sunrise and continuing after sunset during peak summer months. I have been employed in this seasonal role since May 2024, working each year from May through August.
I assisted in the production of high-quality wood boards by unloading lumber from the planer and stacking it onto designated carts. I sorted materials before and after processing to ensure consistent quality and workmanship.
Additionally, I supported the fulfillment of customer wood orders and provided assistance to coworkers wherever needed. I held this position during my junior and senior years of High
School.
I started my employment at Springhill Dairy Farm at age 15 and continued through my junior year of high school. I performed a wide range of responsibilities that supported daily farm and herd management. My duties included milking, scraping, and bedding barns; feeding cows and calves; and maintaining clean, safe pen environments. I operated tractors, ATVs, skid loaders, and other equipment safely and effectively, and assisted with herd health care through vaccinations, basic treatments, and monitoring animal conditions. I also operated and maintained milking equipment to ensure reliable performance and adherence to strict hygiene standards. I worked independently, without supervision, a majority of the time. My work routinely involved 12-hour days on weekends and holidays, as well as during the summer months, and I consistently completed all tasks while working outdoors in all weather conditions.
