• Configured VMWare environments utilizing HA, DRS, vMotion, Storage vMotion, Snapshots for optimal uptime

• Constructed new IT Infrastructure Environment for customers to use post migration from existing Corporate IT to Self Managed ones

Job Duties: Advanced WINDOWS Administration and Hardware/Software Server Support and Consolidation

• Senior Windows Systems Engineer in an Enterprise Data Center with more than 300 servers (Windows and AS400) on HP/Compaq ProLiant, and IBM Platforms
• Provided administration and support of 24 VMware ESX servers representing 200+ virtual servers. All of which are managed through Virtual Center. Additionally planned and performed virtualization of physical servers to reduce footprint (performed over 150 p2v's using VMware Converter)
• Researched, tested and implemented hardware/software consolidation solutions for new applications and lease replacements utilizing ESX VMware 3.5 on HP C-class and P-class blade hardware architecture
