I began my medical health career with becoming a CNA and working in long term for three years while going to nursing school. I then took my LPN exam and remained at the same facility while also taking a first responder class and becoming a volunteer firefighter and while finishing my last year of nursing school. I am experienced with patient care, including administering medications and monitoring vital signs. I often utilize communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive patient relationships and team collaboration. I have ample experience in providing compassionate and attentive care, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Outside of a long term care setting, I also have experience in emergency response. This often requires using critical thinking and quick decision-making to ensure safety and efficiency for best patient outcomes. Throughout my experiences I have gained sufficient insight in many patient care settings.
In 2025, I was part of the team that achieved ROSC on a cardiac arrest patient enroute to the hospital. That man lived to be discharged from the hospital and everyone who participated in the save was honored with the Heart Saver Hero award.
