Makayla Whiting

I currently work at an elementary school serving kindergarten through second-grade students. I evaluate and develop treatment plans and IEP's for each child served. I also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support each client's needs.

During my time at clinic four, I provided early intervention services, completing SOAP notes and administering treatment to children ranging from eight months to six years old. I provided treatment for play therapy, language development, and articulation disorders. Additionally, I conducted evaluation testing for incoming clients.

During my clinical rotation, I balanced four clients, three elementary-aged children and one adult. The adult received telepractice for voice and swallowing disorders. The three children received group therapy for language disorders. My responsibilities included creating diagnostic reports, devising treatment plans, and generating daily SOAP notes.
