The Security Guard is responsible for performing licensed security guarding duties to ensure the safety and security of assigned client location, its visitors, guests, residents and their property. By exhibiting vigilance and tactfulness in following company protocol, the Security Guard is perceptive at identifying situational risk within assigned areas and prompt in communicating events to Site Supervisor/ Manager on duty. The Security Guard works in conjunction with Supervisor staff and Operations teams to foster best practices that are compliant with federal/state regulations and respectful of our company policies and protocols.

Maintaining a visible patrol. Monitoring entrances.Monitoring alarm and security systems.

Making sure that the premises are locked and secure.

Assisting with restraining individuals who pose a safety risk

Using verbal de-escalation techniques to manage conflicts

Answering Multi Phone lines. Taking and relaying proper messages

Executing emergency procedures. such as When to press

panic button to contact

Emergency Services

Logging detailed entries in the log book.

Direct passengers for Pre-Check, Employee Lanes and other specific lines

• • Monitor and judge customer belongings for suitability and proper size/weight for

carry-on

• baggage requirements

• • Give directions within the airport to passengers and provide location of terminal

gates,

• restrooms, restaurants, and ground transportation

• • Provide assistance to the physically impaired, the elderly, and passengers

accompanied by

• small children and infants

• • Organize lines leading into the security checkpoint area ensuring they are orderly

and move efficiently

Completes activities related to boarding and/or deplaning passengers and associated • paperwork and/or computer entries.

• Keys passenger information into the ticketing reservation system.

• • Assists passengers with reservations, ticketing, and adjustments to itinerary.
