I’m 30 years old, I have 6 years of solar experience. I’ve been a critical member in the construction of around 600 megawatts of solar installation. Worked on sites as small as 3000 module high school roof installation. All the way up to utility scale, 200 plus megawatt, 1400 acres, half a million module installations. I have 4 years of crew lead/ Foreman experience. Leading small 5 man crews, all the way to 30 people & the whole mechanical solar scope. I have experience with Nex Tracker, RBI post pounded & ballast block systems, Flex rack & a couple more systems. I bring a great work ethic, years of experience & I can fill 20-30 positions with experienced solar workers.
This site was for Bechtel in southern Indiana. It was a utility scale 200 plus megawatt, 1500 acre Nex Tracker system. I was on this site for 6-7 months operating equipment. Daily operations required me to be in a skid steer or a 15k load all most days. I was a critical part of the offload crew, setting up the material lay down yards & unloading 1500 eighteen wheelers. Along with material logistics & moving materials for the whole site.
I started my solar career in 2020 with Helios renewables. My first site
with them was in Logansport Indiana, a 27 megawatt, around 70,000
panel installation. This is where I joined as a local hire & general laborer.
We had around 20-30 people & completed the site in 6 months. I became
a crew lead on the next site Auburn Indiana which was a 20+ megawatt
installation. Both of those sites were RBI fixed racking post pounded
systems. We did an almost 30 megawatt installation in Depue Illinois.
This was an above ground, RBI fixed racking ballast block installation.
Where all the racking was installed on 2-4 ton concrete ballast blocks
because it was a capped landfill and could not be post pounded. I was a
mechanical crew lead during that whole site. Next we did a 3000 panel
high school roof installation in Elwood Indiana. I was a lead on that
project as well, along with several other similar small projects.
Foreman over the entire mechanical solar scope from start to finish. Edward’s electrical & mechanical hired myself to lead & bring in a team to run production & operations. It was a 5 megawatt, roughly 10,000 panel, 25 acre flex rack system. I was onsite for 4 months leading 25 people. After we finished the mechanical scope early, we assisted the electricians with theirs.
