Controls Technician

My role at Kaitech was to be the jack of all trades while building our Fully Automated wash-down robotic systems. My schooling and experience with electromechanical troubleshooting and maintenance were an easy transition into my role as a controls technician. We were building systems from the ground up with short timelines, while also doing the research and development of said system. You had to be able to communicate and work effectively with a team, as well as think on your feet to solve any problems that had come up.

  • Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, and work closely with engineering to execute the job.
  • Lead contractors in the Assembly/Disassembly and ultimately the final assembly on site and then perform I/O checks following assembly.
