As a plant health care specialist my primary duties are to monitor, evaluate and then provide the proper plant health care to trees, shrubs and various other plants that are suffering from plant disease or insect infestation on commercial or client properties. To be able to preform such duties I am required to accurately mix and apply pesticides or fertilizer treatments to properly diagnosed trees, shrubs or various plants whilst safely operating a company vehicle (spray rig).

As a water microbiology laboratory intern my essential duties while on the job were the following: receive, process and store environmental samples before and/or after analysis, performing microbiological analysis of water samples, interprets and reports results of laboratory tests in accordance with SOP (standard operating procedure), quality control/assurance of laboratory and operating various laboratory equipment (incubators, pH meters, filtration systems etc..).
