Malik Jackson

My responsibilities while at the Oakley Police Department involved patrol operations. I've provided critical support in high pressure situations and work well with others during investigations. During my time with the Oakley Police Department, I have conducted detailed investigations and have collected critical evidence for court proceedings. Additionally, I have worked closely with citizens as well and have maintained healthy Police contacts with citizens within the community.

I was assigned to housing unit 9 (behavioral health house) while at the Sheriffs Office. I was tasked with having to manage a housing unit of approximately 130 mental health subjects with two additional Deputies. This experience prepared me to be an effective communicator with the ability to de-escalate situations in a multitude of ways. I was also assigned to the Rene C. Davis Courthouse in Oakland, where I experienced high stake court proceedings within Alameda County.
