I tried shooting short reels for content on my public Instagram account, which helped me understand the camera and its functions as a whole. I also gained some insight into post-production and learned about the importance of coverage shots, which I initially forgot to include, forcing me to improvise. However, I still wouldn't say that I have enough experience to operate the camera for the level of quality we aim to achieve in our short film.

A set runner is an entry-level position in film and TV production, responsible for providing general support to the crew and ensuring the set operates smoothly. Duties include running errands, delivering messages, handling paperwork, organizing equipment, assisting with refreshments, and helping with transport. This role requires flexibility, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to handle various tasks, making it an essential support role on set.
