Conduct comprehensive site inspections and field testing of construction materials (soil, concrete, asphalt, etc.) to verify compliance with project standards and industry best practices
Review contractor-submitted construction documents, including test results, work procedures, and safety plans, ensuring adherence to environmental protection standards
Prepare and submit detailed certification/technical reports to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PDEP) regarding construction activities, environmental monitoring, and compliance status
Collaborate with project managers and contractors to resolve quality-related issues, identifying potential risks and implementing corrective actions to maintain project timelines and budgets
Supervise subgrade acceptance, liner installation, and cover soil placement
Perform material density testing using the Troxler Nuclear Density Gauge, and conduct sampling for lab analysis.
Coordinate daily progress updates with project engineers, contractors, and stakeholders
