- Diagnose no-cool, no-heat, low-refrigerant, high-head-pressure, electrical, control, communication, and airflow problems.
- Replace and troubleshoot HVAC components including compressors, condenser/evaporator fan motors, capacitors, contactors, transformers, relays, thermostats, filter-driers, fuses, and control components.
- Troubleshoot equipment following power loss, breaker cycling, blown control fuses, transformer failures, and line-voltage issues.
- Work with electricians, controls contractors, TAB personnel, general contractors, and other trades to resolve startup and commissioning deficiencies.
- Maintain and update startup forms, commissioning lists, TAB lists, equipment checklists, and project documentation.
- Perform service calls and communicate equipment conditions, repairs performed, deficiencies, and recommended corrective actions.
